New Century College faculty member Kristin Scott received the Applied Urban Communication Research Grant, an award through the Eastern Communication Association. In addition Kristin received a term faculty development award from the College of Humanities and Social Sciences. Both of these awards will support her fieldwork in Copenhagen, where she will conduct research on digitally sustainable smart and intelligent communities, and this in turn will help her enhance her digital futures course so that it has both a national and international component.
