Section Information for Fall 2013

The course will be taught in a combination lecture/laboratory format. Readings and discussion will be a key component in connecting sensing, feeling and intuiting to our analytical thinking process. Students will experience movement/knowing both through replicating specific patterned actions as well as through structured improvisational exploration. The course is in part an experiential anatomy class, in part an overview of somatics type practice, and in part an introduction to the field of Movement Analysis.
