Section Information for Fall 2014

This course explores the art and science of meditation and mindfulness, and the biology, effects, and interventions for stress and explore how best to manage the stress response. With one EL credit, all students will be required to attend a day-long retreat on either Saturday, October 25, or Sunday, October 26. Included in the class is a requirement for students to practice meditation outside of class as well as various partner and group activities. 4 credits.
