SCBI Autumn Conservation Festival

Join us for an unforgettable day of tours and activities at the Smithsonian Conservation Biology Institute (SCBI) in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Smithsonian scientists, whose research spans the globe, will be on hand to help you explore the tools and technology they use to understand animals and their environments. There will be food, live music, animal displays and a great day to tour the SMSC/SCBI facility for the only days out of the year the general public can visit this research facility.

$10 fee for Mason Students for a luxury tour bus drive to the Smithsonian Conservation Biology Institute in Front Royal, VA on Saturday, October 4th, 2014.

Bus leaves campus at 9:30am, returns by 3:30pm

Fee includes payment to FONZ for admission and travel costs. While there, students are on their own to explore SCBI/ SMSC as they wish.
