Robert Bernard
After his undergraduate education in journalism and business administration at George Washington University, Robert Bernard worked several years in computer related professions, primarily in software instruction and hardware infrastructure design. He returned to academia to pursue graduate work in philosophy, first at George Mason and then at Temple University. His research now focuses on the field of education – specifically, historical and contemporary pedagogical theory and practice. This multi- and inter-disciplinary background, in combination with his pedagogical interests, provides the foundation for his pursuit of integrative teaching and learning. He has taught a wide variety of courses for New Century College since 1996, from the year-long, first-year experience program to the senior synthesis capstone seminar.
New Century College courses taught:
- NCLC 110 Community of Learners
