Graduation Timeline
The semesters prior to graduation:
- Meet with your advisor each semester
- Upon completing 90 credits, obtain a graduation audit from Kelly
Dunne (kdunne@gmu.edu).
- Complete NCLC 491, Senior Capstone
The start of your semester of graduation (when you will complete
ALL of your requirements):
- Watch the NCC listserv for graduation updates and reminders
- Take note of important
deadlines for filing your intent to graduate and submitting
your NCC paperwork.
- See if you can graduate with
distinction.
- Submit Graduation Intent Form on Patriot Web by clicking on "Student Services & Financial Aid" and then "Graduation Intent."
- Complete and return the NCC graduation
application packet
- Register for NCLC 492 or 493, Graduation Portfolio
- Submit your graduation portfolio by the due date:
March 31st for May graduates
June 30th for August graduates
October 31st for January graduates
- Visit the GMU

related activities, including cap and gown, ceremonies, and announcements.
