Programs of Study
New Century College offers an integrative degree program in which students earn either a Bachelor of Arts or a Bachelor of Science in Integrative Studies, with a concentration in an interdisciplinary area of their choice. The following list summarizes the current principal areas of concentration and expertise for the Bachelor of Arts degree. Within each concentration are core requirements and a broad selection of elective courses, which enables students to fulfill their individual interests and personalize the course of study. In addition, students may work with academic advisors and faculty to design a completely individualized concentration.

Mason Cornerstones
Incoming first-year students can apply to join the Mason Cornerstones program, and then pursue an approved concentration that integrates two or more disciplines.

Transfers
NCC accepts students from other four-year institutions or community colleges, as well as from other academic units within Mason, into the Integrative Studies program after admission to the university. Minors
Smithsonian-Mason Semester
In collaboration with the Smithsonian Institution National Zoo's Conservation and Research Center and the Center for Conservation Education and Sustainability, George Mason offers the Smithsonian-Mason Semester for undergraduates and a number of graduate and professional training courses.
