Social Science for Education Concentration

This degree meets the Virginia Department of Education content-area requirements and will prepare students for graduate licensure programs in secondary education and social science.

This degree meets the Virginia Department of Education content-area requirements and will prepare students for graduate licensure programs in secondary education history and social science.  Students should meet with Mason's @TeacherTrack specialist throughout their undergraduate degree as well as integrative studies academic advisors.

Qualified students in the concentration have the opportunity to apply for the Bachelor’s/Accelerated Master’s program and obtain both a BA in Integrative Studies and an MEd in Curriculum & Instruction, Secondary Education History & Social Science concentration.
