Technology Internships

The New Century College commitment to the preparation of graduates for the demands of active, responsible citizenship extends to technology literacy. Many students fulfill their 12-credit experiential learning requirement by enhancing their information technology skills through commercial, governmental, educational and community internships.

George Mason's unique Northern Virginia location (next to the Dulles high-tech corridor) lets NCC students compete for some of the most challenging electronic economy internships in the country. Students subsequently learn through hands-on conceptual and technical work in information technology firms, government agencies and in non-profit organizations.

The sites where New Century College students have gained their experiential learning credits in Information Technology include:

America Online
APCO Worldwide
Artel Incorporated
AT&T
Bionexus Foundation
Cyber Camps
Datatec Systems Inc
Datatel

DynCorp
